Tax Education Foundation is the educational arm of Iowans for Tax Relief.  We educate the general public about the tax and spending practices of state and local government in Iowa.  Tax Education Foundation also conducts and compiles original research on a variety of fiscal topics and provides state by state comparative data.

Tax Education Foundation disseminates this research through this website, speaking engagements, earned media, and a variety of widely distributed publications.

Since our start in 1982, we have spoken to hundreds of civic clubs and conducted hundreds of our own Tax Education Dinners to educate Iowans about the tax and spending practices of Iowa governments.
